Synthesites is a spin-off company from the Centre of Liquid Composite Moulding of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) aiming to develop and commercialize innovative ideas on process monitoring and control. For the last two years, process monitoring systems are being developed and tested not only at lab scale but also at industrial sites in order to fully understand the real problems and provide reliable solutions. In March 2010, the new generation of OptiMold has been presented and has been already installed in several lab and industrial sites for the process monitoring and control of Liquid Composie Moulding processes such as RTM, vacuum infusion and autoclave applications.
