European leading provider of Computer Aided Engineering software. Founded in 1986 as a spinoff of the Aerospace Laboratory of University of Liège. Developing and marketing the general purpose Finite Element Analysis code SAMCEF, the Multi-Disciplinary Optimization platform BOSS Quattro and the Open CAE Integration Framework CAESAM. Main references in aeronautics are: AIRBUS, EADS, SNECMA, EUROCOPTER, AVIO, ALENIA AERONAUTICA, AERMACCHI. Fully experienced in the R&D of engineering software for Aeronautics: SAMTECH is participating in several FP6 and FP7 projects. Major references for structures analysis (especially of composite structures) are FP6 VIVACE, FP6 COCOMAT, FP6 ALCAS and FP7 MAAXIMUS. For flexible system dynamics applications, references are: FP6 PIBRAC and FP6 NICETRIP. SAMTECH also coordinated FP5 SYNAMEC and FP6 SYNCOMECS, respectively related to rigid mechanisms synthesis and compliant mechanical systems synthesis. Since late August 2011, SAMTECH belongs to the LMS group.

FP7
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) bundles all research-related EU initiatives together under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment.
