Loop Technology, located in the south of England, was incorporated in 1998 with a view to
becoming a leading provider of advanced automation systems. Industries served include
aerospace, automotive, electronics and energy. The majority of supplied machines involve the integration of sophisticated machine vision motion control and robotic technologies. In 2010 Loop engaged in the Affordable Composite Manufacturing Grand Challenge, a program part funded by the UK Technology Strategy Board, to promote the progression of technologies employed in composite manufacturing. As a result of the program fibre inspection and fabric pick and place systems have been developed and successfully deployed in an aerospace environment. Loop has a growing portfolio of composite related systems and is dedicated to developing and exploiting cutting edge solutions in this increasingly important sector.

FP7
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) bundles all research-related EU initiatives together under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment.
